The
CIGMC is a not-for-profit club that is open to all.
It
was formed in1952 to foster interest and appreciation of the geological
sciences, lapidary skills and jewelry arts through the presentation
of educational programs and activities.

Our
passion is rocks, minerals, gemstones & fossils–and it shows!
Join Us!
The
Club participates in many activities, including monthly meetings and
programs, fieldtrips and sponsorsip of the Annual Show. 2008 will be
our 56th yearly show.
The Club also volunteers to assist in staffing and supplying the Running
Water Sluice, which can be found at many events and festivals throughout
the region during the summer and fall.
