 Formed in the shale rock above the Illinois coal seams, these pyrite crystals grown in a circular pattern unique to Illinois. Approx 350 million years old. Unusual and similar pattern is usually found on the back of the disk.

• From an old collection - 1950-1990s and it is still bright and shiny!
