Igneous rock collection includes 15 specimens, labeled and identified, and a chart of common igneous rocks representing phaneritic texture, porphyritic texture, aphanitic texture and aphanitic/glassy texture.

Specimens include Biotite granite, pegmatite, syenite, diorite, gabbro, anorthosite, hornblende, basalt, porphyry, feldsite, andesite, basalt, obsidian, pitchstone, pumice and scoria.
